If you are looking to temporarily take care of SPCA animals in your home, Foster Orientation is the place to be!
The SPCA does not foster-to-adopt (meaning we do not foster out animals to homes with the intention of that home adopting the animal). However, we understand there may come a time a foster will fall in love with an animal they are caring for and want to adopt, in which case we will adopt to the foster. I.E Foster Fail. :)
Orientation is 30 minutes. There is no charge.

What to do in case of emergencies or animals needing care.
Who covers medical expenses. Who provides medical care. (spoiler- we do).
How to set-up an area for your foster. What to feed your foster.
What supplies you will need. What the SPCA can provide.
What fosters can expect when an animal is in their home.
How long a foster animal might be in the home. (Typically 3-5 weeks)
