Why Foster Bottle Babies?
-
Short-term commitment (as little as 3 weeks)

You only foster one puppy at a time - unless you want two...
-
Life-saving care during their most vulnerable stage
-
All supplies provided by the SPCA—just bring the love!
What to Expect When You’re Fostering a Bottle Baby:
Week 1 (2 Weeks Old):
-
Fully bottle-fed every 3–4 hours
-
Needs help staying warm and lots of snuggles
-
Eyes just opening, starting to wiggle
Week 2 (3 Weeks Old):
-
Learning to toddle and explore
-
Still bottle-fed, may begin teething on kibble or trying mushy formula-mixed food
-
Getting cuter by the minute
Week 3 (4 Weeks Old):
-
Walking and playing like a champ!
-
Comfort bottles may continue, but most nutrition comes from puppy mush
-
Some may prefer drinking from a bowl
