FOSTER NEEDED: Romeo

Romeo is a SWEET boy who loves people and is ready to heal in a calm, comfortable home. He is recovering from ACL (TPLO) surgery and needs a dedicated foster for the next 6 weeks.

Romeo must be the ONLY animal in the home. He does not do well with other pets, but he makes up for it with his love for humans.

What Romeo needs:
• A quiet, low-activity home
• No other animals
• No stairs (he cannot go up and down right now)
• Someone willing to follow simple recovery care

His recovery care includes:

Weeks 1–2:
• Strict rest. No running, jumping, or off-leash activity
• Ice packs on incision (10–15 minutes, 2–3 times daily)
• Gentle range-of-motion exercises
• Short, slow leash walks for potty breaks only

Weeks 2–6:
• Gradually increasing short leash walks
• Encouraging slow, controlled movement
• Simple rehab exercises

SPCA will provide medical support and guidance every step of the way—you provide the safe place for Romeo to recover.

Orange is a small, sweet, and friendly girl with a happy personality. She is currently pregnant and expected to give birth in the next 1–2 weeks. An ultrasound showed she is carrying 5 puppies.

Orange is looking for a foster home where she can safely deliver and care for her puppies. She will need to stay in foster until the puppies are about 8 weeks old. Around 6 weeks, the puppies will need to come into the shelter for their first vaccines.

We can provide puppy pads, food, and any needed supplies. 

If you can provide a calm, caring space for Orange and her pups during this important time, please respond now to foster her.
