Help Us Take Cocoa & Puppies to the KWings Game!
Do you love animals and sports? Here’s your chance to help out! We're looking for volunteers to accompany Cocoa (the adult husky) and a couple of adorable puppies to the KWings game this Saturday, March 29th.
Details:
Team of 4 Volunteers

Pickup at SPCA: 2:30 PM Animals and Supplies

Set-up at KWings: 3:00 PM (Doors open to their ticket holders at 3:15pm)
The SPCA will be set-up in an area where KWings visitors will come to see the animals. We will have an information table and pen set-up for the puppies. Cocoa will be on a leash. They may ask Cocoa and a volunteer to walk on the ice during an intermission.

Stay through the 2nd period: until around 6:30 PM
Return the pups and Cocoa back to the shelter.
Volunteer Requirements:

Must be comfortable with handling both the adult dog, Cocoa, and the puppies.

Must be able to transport the animals safely and responsibly

Comfortable speaking with the public about the SPCA and the animals.
