Signing-Up for this volunteer spot will count toward your court-ordered community service hours.
You do not need to be at the shelter the full 2 hours.
Only the time you are at the shelter will count toward your hours.
Community Service Hours are completed at the SPCA by helping with tasks that include:
Cleaning The Public Areas of the Shelter (Not the dog kennel or cat room).
Sorting Donations
Special Projects (bagging up food for the food bank, organizing, etc...)
NOTE: Court Ordered Community Service Hours at the SPCA does not involve contact with SPCA animals. If you would like to volunteer with the animals in your personal time, you are welcomed to go through General Orientation, but the hours will not count toward community service time.
