SPCA dogs are always ready for volunteers in the morning. They are ready for their walks to sniff the fresh air, cuddle with volunteers, and play a little catch.
Mornings are also cleaning time at the SPCA. Volunteers help the staff by walking the dogs while staff gets their kennels cleaned and sanitized for the day.
Morning Walking is between 8am - 11:00.
Volunteers do NOT have to be at the shelter the full time 3 hours. 1.5 hours a week or 6 hours a month per volunteers gets our dogs the walks they need.
All adults 18+ are required to sign-up to come in to volunteers. Kids that have been through orientation may accompany their parent/guardian and sign-in in the kids binder when they arrive.
