Adoption Counselor Morning Shift is our earliest Adoption Counselor shift- and by morning, we don't mean too early, we mean 11am when the shelter opens. :)
Morning Adoption Counselors help the SPCA open up and get ready for the day. On busy days we may have a line around the building of adopters waiting to come in and on slow days we may have 1-2 people waiting in the parking lot. Adoption Counselors greet the public and help them with their needs.
This is also the busiest time for phone calls.
And there's always donations waiting at the door to be brought in.
Mornings are busy at the SPCA as we get ready for the day ahead.
