Volunteer: FOSTER NEEDED: One Spunky Kitten on a Mission

FOSTER NEEDED: One Spunky Kitten on a Mission

Looking for a little chaos in your life? We’ve got just the kitten for you.

This tiny, sassy singleton has been lovingly raised from a bottle baby in one of our amazing SPCA foster homes—and she’s grown into a confident, spunky little girl who knows exactly what she wants (and isn’t shy about telling you).

She needs a short-term foster for just a few weeks until she reaches 2lbs and is ready for her spay surgery (planned for September 16th).

Very social
Loud and proud
Food protective (she will guard her snacks)
Not afraid to throw paws if you're late with dinner

Ready to foster this fierce little fluffball and give her a cozy place to grow? Respond now!

Volunteer: Foster Needed for 3 Spunky, Rambunctious Kittens!

We have 3 spunky kittens, around 7 weeks old, who are in need of a foster home for the next 3 weeks.

They’re absolutely full of life—rambunctious, playful, and always on the move! As you’ll see from their photo, it’s more of a blur than a portrait... they were far too excited to sit still and just wanted to get down and play!

If you’re ready for a fun, energetic foster experience, respond now to take them home!

Thanks so much for your support!

Volunteer: Foster Needed for 5 Shy but Beautiful Kittens

We have a group of 5 beautiful kittens, about 6 weeks old, in need of a foster home for 1 month or until they reach 2 lbs.

This group includes some adorable Tabicos and oranges, and while they’re absolutely stunning, they are also very under socialized. They tend to scatter when people approach and will need a calm, patient foster home to help them get used to human interaction and build confidence.

This is a great opportunity to make a big difference in their lives and help set them up for future success.

If you’re up for the challenge, respond now to foster this special group!

Volunteer: Foster Needed for 5 Sweet Kittens!

We have a group of 5 kittens, around 6 weeks old, who are in need of a foster home for about 1 month, or until they all reach 2 lbs. Some of them are already there, while others are still in the low 1 lb range.

This is a social, playful group that loves attention, climbing on people, and being around humans—they’re a lot of fun to have around! Please note that one of the kittens has a mild upper respiratory infection and is currently on eye drops, which are already helping clear it up.

If you're available to foster this group, please respond now—they’re ready to go!

Thank you for your continued support!

Foster Needed: 3 Sweet Kittens for 1 Month!

We’re looking for a foster home for 3 adorable, social kittens (2 months old) for just one month!

Two of the kittens tested faint positive for Feline Leukemia — this could be a false positive, but they need a safe, temporary home until they can be retested.

They must be fostered in a home with no other cats or kept completely separate from resident cats.

They’re playful, affectionate, and full of kitten energy — you’ll fall in love!

Volunteer: Foster Heroes Needed for 6 Spicy Kittens

Foster Heroes Needed for 6 Spicy Kittens!

We have 6 feisty, 10-week-old kittens looking for a special foster home for just one month to help them learn the ropes of being loved and social.

These little ones are ready for neutering, but first—they need your help to build trust and social skills. Right now, they’re a bit shy and sassy, but with patience and love, they’ll come around!

Important Note: One kitten tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Because of their young age, this could be a false positive—we’ll retest when they return. For now, they must go to a home without other cats or one where they can be safely kept completely separate.

If you have the time, space, and love to give—even if it’s just for a few weeks—please reach out now. These spicy babes are counting on a kind human to help them grow into confident, cuddly cats.

Volunteer: Hospice Foster Needed for Daniel the Cat

Hospice Foster Needed for Daniel the Cat

Meet Daniel — a gentle, resilient soul who’s looking for a loving home to spend the rest of his life surrounded by comfort and care. Daniel has been diagnosed with GI cancer and is FIV-positive, but what he needs most now is a quiet, compassionate foster home where he can enjoy his days feeling safe, warm, and loved.

Daniel is on a simple once-a-day oral medication, and while his condition causes occasional accidents (he may urinate in his bed), we are happy to provide multiple washable beds so he can always have a clean and cozy spot to rest.

We don’t have a timeline for how long Daniel will need hospice foster — it all depends on his health and happiness. What we do know is that his time will be better because of you.

The SPCA will cover all of Daniel’s medical care, and we can also provide food and supplies. All you need to give is your love and patience.

If you have room in your heart and home for a cat in need, please consider being Daniel’s hospice hero.

Respond now to foster Daniel.

Thank you for making a difference.

Volunteer: Buddy Cat: Reggie

Reggie

Reggie is a sweet senior cat who tends to be a bit stand-offish at first.

He’s looking for volunteers who will take the time to bring him out of his shell. Start by talking to him gently, and offer slow, light pets on his head—after doing the hand sniff test to make sure he’s comfortable with your touch.

Go slow and give him plenty of time to adjust to your presence. With patience and understanding, we’re hopeful that Reggie will start to warm up soon. Your calm approach can make all the difference in helping him feel safe and loved!

Thank You!

Volunteer: Volunteer: Cat City Morning Cleaning

Cat City Morning Cleaning is one of the SPCA's volunteer activities that we need filled the most.

The best part about this activity is when you're the first person to walk into the cat room in the morning all the cats come to greet you with purrs and cuddles.

It takes about 2 hours to clean Cat City.

We allot three hours for this activity to give the volunteer the time and space to spend with the cats. Volunteers do not need to be at the SPCA the full 3 hours.

Duties Include:

Sweeping and Mopping

Feeding the cats and changing out the water.

Putting out clean blankets.

Scooping the litter boxes and putting fresh litter in.

Making sure Cat City is clean and tidy.

Thank you!
